Similar to the Hazard Cards, weather cards can be used at the beginning of each operating session to set the stage a bit differently each session. A snowy day card could lead to MOW equipment being sent out first to plow the track. Heavy rain could induce a chance of flooding causing trains to reduce speed near wetlands. An extension of the weather card could be to assign a month, even a day and time for the commencement of each operating session.
